The Icon of the Savior, Image "Not-Made-By-Hands" The Mandylion, also Acheiropoieta is one of the earliest icons witnessed to by the Church.

This sacred icon represents the miraculous image of Christ, known as the “Holy Mandylion” or “Image Not Made by Hands” (Спас Нерукотворный, Убрус - russian). It portrays the face of Jesus Christ on a cloth held by two angels, symbolizing divine revelation and His presence among the faithful. The icon is made by printing on a wooden board (mdf). Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 1,6 cm. The board is covered with primer. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.

The icon is made on an MDF wooden base, printed with mineral pigment inks, and protected with natural beeswax.

The image is created using direct artistic multi-layer printing with mineral pigments, then protected with beeswax for durability.

The icon board is prepared by hand, and the back side is finished manually with a brush.

This method allows us to achieve museum-quality reproduction, which is only possible using professional equipment.
