The Icon of the Last Judgment is an iconography of an Orthodox icon depicting the coming end of the world — the universal Last Judgment, which will be carried out by Jesus Christ during his Second Coming. It depicts pictures of the end of the world, the last judgment on all mankind, the resurrection of the dead, scenes of hellish torment of unrepentant sinners and the heavenly bliss of the righteous.
The images of the Last Judgment had an important feature: they were created not to intimidate a person, but to make him think about his sins; "not to despair, not to lose hope, but to begin repentance."
The icon is made by printing on a wooden board. Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 2 cm. The board is covered with primer by hand. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.
