This rare and profound Orthodox icon belongs to the Theological type, depicting the divine Teaching of God’s Word. The maze in the foreground serves as a symbolic representation of a person's life journey and the wandering of their soul. The iconographer’s intricate work highlights the spiritual reality: there are countless exits from the labyrinth leading to hell — representing vices, temptations, and destructive pursuits. However, there is only one path to salvation and immortality of the soul, achieved through a life of piety, prayer, and righteousness.

The icon is made by printing on a wooden board (mdf). Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 1,6 cm. The board is covered with primer. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.
