Wholeness of Creation – The unicorns represent the completeness of God’s creation, even the most untamed and mythical beings, gathered into the Ark of salvation.
Christ as the Unicorn – In Christian tradition, the unicorn came to symbolize Christ’s incarnation, who was “tamed” only by the Virgin Mary. Its single horn also symbolizes the oneness of God.
