Wooden Icon of the Savior Jesus Christ, Lord Pantocrator (Spas Moskvoretsky)
The image of Christ Pantocrator is the most important in the iconography of Christ. It is found in a “shoulder” (to the beginning of the chest, up to the shoulders) and waist composition.
With his right hand Christ blesses people, with his left he holds the open Book. The book is also a symbol of Jesus Christ Himself, because, according to the words of the Evangelist John the Theologian, He is the Word of God who came into the world.
“Lord Almighty (Savior of Moskvoretsky)” is a miraculous icon of the second quarter of the 17th century, which depicts Jesus Christ. It was considered lost since the late 1920s.
Location: Cathedral of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the Moat (St. Basil's Cathedral) on Red Square in Moscow.

We are worshiped by your misery, good, asking for the awakening of the sins of the people, Christ is more: I have a lot of deeds to be the plot to the cross, but the delights that I also created the work of the dungeon. Thus we cry out to You with gratitude: You have filled all joy, O our Savior, who came to save the world.

Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
