Saint Peter (†1326)
First Metropolitan of Moscow: Peter was the first metropolitan to settle in Moscow, which contributed to the strengthening of the city as a religious center.
Activities: He actively supported the construction of churches and monasteries, and also contributed to the spread of Christianity in Rus'.
Saint Alexy (†1378)
Defender of Rus': Alexy was known as a defender of Orthodoxy in difficult times, including the Mongol-Tatar invasions.
Diplomatic skills: He used his diplomatic skills to improve relations between various principalities and strengthen the unity of Rus'.
Saint Jonah (†1461)
Reformer of the Church: Jonah played an important role in reforming church life, striving for the spiritual revival of the people.

Saint Philip (†1569)
