This is an Orthodox icon of the Mother of God, depicting the Theotokos (Holy Virgin Mary) with Christ Child. The inscription at the top reads: “Образ Пресвятыя Бцы Леушинская” (Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos of Leushino), referring to the Leushinsky Icon of the Mother of God. This icon is associated with the Leushinsky Monastery, a Russian Orthodox convent known for its deep spiritual traditions.
