Wooden Icon of the Holy Blessed Xenia of Petersburg

Saint Xenia was renowned for her prophetic abilities and capacity to perform miracles while alive, extending to the present day. Her grave is a revered site of pilgrimage, and she is prayed to for assistance with issues such as unemployment, homelessness, and marital strife. January 24th marks an annual observance of her feast. She is recognized as a Fool-for-Christ, choosing to defy social conventions to veil their holiness to others.

The icon is made by printing on a wooden board. Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 2 cm. The board is covered with primer by hand. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.
