Life of Saint Helena: Saint Queen Helena was the mother of Emperor Constantine the Great. Born in the 3rd century, she became a Christian and greatly influenced her son in embracing the faith. She is most famous for her pilgrimage to the Holy Land, where she discovered the True Cross of Christ. With her patronage, many churches were built in Jerusalem, including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. She devoted her life to charitable works and Christian missions, spreading the faith across the Roman Empire. She is honored as a saint for her piety and contributions to Christianity.
The icon is made by printing on a wooden board (mdf). Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 1,6 cm. The board is covered with primer. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.
