Wooden Icon of Jesus Christ the King of Kings (Great Bishop)

Jesus Christ, represented as the King by the King and the Great Bishop, sits on the throne. Standing before him are the Mother of God in royal robes and a crown, John the Baptist, also in a crown, the archangels Michael and Gabriel, the apostles Peter, Paul, John the Theologian and Andrew the First-Called. The Reverends Zosima and Savvaty of Solovetsky, who fell to their knees, worshiped him.

The title is borrowed from the Revelation of St. John the Evangelist (Rev. 19:11-17). Christ is presented as the Lord of the kings of the earth, so He is depicted wearing the robe of a ruler, often a mantle. An integral attribute is diadems on the head, an orb, a symbol of peace, crowned with a cross, and a scepter, signifying royal power.

The icon is made by printing on a wooden board. Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 2 cm. The board is covered with primer by hand. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.
