This rare 19th-century Orthodox icon is a unique collection featuring 146 images of the Most Holy Theotokos. Created in the tradition of Russian iconography, it includes many famous miraculous depictions of the Mother of God, venerated throughout the Orthodox world.

At the center of the icon is the scene of the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, symbolizing the presence of divine grace. The Theotokos is depicted in a prayerful posture, surrounded by the apostles, emphasizing her special role as the intercessor for humanity.

Structure of the Icon
1. Main Section:
• 146 individual representations of the Mother of God, including renowned icons such as the Kazan, Smolensk, Iveron, Pochaev, Vladimir, Bogolyubskaya, Tikhvin, and many others.
• Surrounding the central composition, smaller icons each depict a specific miraculous image of the Theotokos.
2. Upper Section:
• In the upper right corner, there is a rare depiction of St. Seraphim of Sarov praying in the forest before an icon of the Theotokos, highlighting his deep spiritual connection with the Virgin Mary.
3. Lower Section:
• Four distinct images of saints, including Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, Saint Cyril, Saint Tikhon, and Saint Sergius of Radonezh.
4. Decorative Features:
• A yellow background, characteristic of traditional Orthodox iconography.
• A richly decorated ornamental frame with gilded patterns.
• Inscriptions in Church Slavonic, most of which remain legible.

The icon is made by printing on a wooden board (mdf). Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 1,6 cm. The board is covered with primer. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.

The icon is made on an MDF wooden base, printed with mineral pigment inks, and protected with natural beeswax.

A hanging mount is included.

The image is created using direct artistic multi-layer printing with mineral pigments, then protected with beeswax for durability.

The icon board is prepared by hand, and the back side is finished manually with a brush.

This method allows us to achieve museum-quality reproduction, which is only possible using professional equipment.
