The Holy Martyr Timothy, along with the martyrs Agapius and Thecla, suffered for Christ in the year 304. Saint Timothy was born in Gaza, Caesarea of Palestine. He studied the Holy Scriptures and, gifted with eloquence, became a teacher of the Christian faith. During the persecutions under Emperors Diocletian (284–305) and Maximian (284–305), he was brought before the governor Urban. Fearlessly declaring himself a Christian, he boldly preached about the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and His coming into the world for the salvation of mankind. After enduring severe tortures, the saint remained steadfast in his faith, and he was condemned to be burned alive.
In the same city and year, the martyrs Agapius and Thecla also gave their lives for Christ, being thrown to wild beasts and thus receiving heavenly crowns.

The icon is made by printing on a wooden board. Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 2 cm. The board is covered with primer by hand. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall. The icon has no recess, the surface is smooth. The icon does not use gilding or an ark.
