Saint Alexius (Alexey), Metropolitan of Moscow, Wonderworker of All Russia and Holy Great Martyr Equal to the Apostles Thekla of Iconium, Seleucia. Wooden orthodox icon.

The Holy Church glorifies the "first-suffering" Thekla as "the glory of women, the guide of sufferers, who opened the way for all torments." Many churches have been dedicated to her since ancient times, one of which was built in Constantinople by the holy equal-to-the-apostles Constantine. The name of the holy first martyr equal-to-the-apostles Thekla, a prayer-woman for all ascetics, is remembered when women are tonsured into monasticism.

The icon is made by printing on a wooden board. Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 2 cm. The board is covered with primer by hand. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.
