Archangel Michael is the Main Angel of God, placed above all angelic ranks (Angels, Archangels, Seraphim, Cherubim, Beginnings..)
Archangel (archangel) Michael leads the heavenly host, that is, nine angelic ranks, differing in their service and degree of closeness to the Deity. Seraphim, cherubim and thrones are closest to God. Fiery, six-winged Seraphim are flaming with love for God. The many-eyed cherubim shine with the knowledge of the mysteries of God and the depths of the Lord's wisdom, the light of God's Knowledge. God's justice is manifested through the God-bearing Thrones.

The young faces of the angels, shining with whiteness and delicate blush, give the Yaroslavl icon a jubilant character. The glitter of gold and the blaze of cinnabar, shaded with green and blue colors, fill the icon with light, which seems to be a reflection of the ineffable glory of the Lord.

The icon is made by printing on a wooden board. Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 2 cm. The board is covered with primer by hand. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.
