The Feodorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God, also known as Our Lady of Saint Theodore or the Black Virgin Mary of Russia, is a revered wooden Orthodox icon. As the patron icon of the Romanov family, it holds a central place in Russian religious and cultural heritage.

This icon is particularly venerated in the Upper Volga region and is renowned for its delicate depiction of the Virgin Mary tenderly embracing the Christ Child. It symbolizes divine protection, maternal love, and the intercession of the Mother of God.

The Feodorovskaya Icon is a treasured piece of Orthodox Christian tradition and a meaningful artifact for devotion, reflecting the deep spirituality and artistic craftsmanship of its time.

The icon is made by printing on a wooden board (mdf). Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 1,6 cm. The board is covered with primer. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.
