The name Raphael in translation from the Hebrew language means – help, healing of God, healing of God, healer of human ailments.

There is a whole book in the Bible called the Book of Tobit, which describes how the Archangel Raphael accompanied the righteous Tobias in the form of a young man, protected him from accidental misfortunes on the way, freed Sarah, the daughter of Raguel, from the evil spirit of Asmodeus, gave her to Tobias, the son of Tobit, and removed the eyesore from Tobit

The icon is made by printing on a wooden board. Paints are mineral, do not fade with time. The thickness of the board is 2 cm. The board is covered with primer by hand. The image is covered with wax. Each icon has a metal mount on the back side so that you can hang the icon on the wall.
